In early October, Blue Buffalo recalled a portion of their line of organic dog food (wilderness chicken, basics salmon and large breed adult chicken dry dog food). The recall had been prompted by reports that some dogs who consumed the food were showing signs of Vitamin D toxicity which subsided when the dogs switched food.
